it pisses me off so much when i see someones work being used in icons or headers or whatever. especially when the photographer pointedly puts on their work do NOT copyright and use without my permission. i know for a fact that they didnt ask because most photographers do not allow it. people do not know how much or how long it takes to get the right shot. and when its being used on what, livejournal, it just ruins it. so much depth and feeling is put into just that one photo its just wrong to use it as an icon. its just plain wrong. i dont know why i joined

this one community. they use the word 'stock' for the name of the photos. they are NOT stock! theres no credit. in the day i've been apart of the community i've seen so many pictures that are from deviantart. it makes me so mad.

i'm just a rambling mess right now. i had to put that out there.
every time i see a photo from deviantart or flickr being used i want to scream at the people and of course tattle to the photographer that their photo is being used. but i'm not 15 anymore.

celebrities is one thing but using someones personal photos is WRONG!


if you think your work is being used...check this community out and you can let them know that they are thieves.
